About the role

You will lead the technical design and implementation of AI-powered applications, with a strong focus on Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent agents and production AI services. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who can make architecture decisions, write high-quality code and guide other developers.

What you'll do

• Design and develop LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines and AI agent workflows.
• Build reliable retrieval systems using embeddings, vector search, document processing and context-management strategies.
• Evaluate and integrate foundation models and APIs from leading LLM providers, as well as appropriate open-source models.
• Develop backend AI services and APIs using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Improve prompt design, retrieval quality, model responses, latency, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Design evaluation, observability and guardrail approaches for production AI systems.
• Work with databases, vector stores, caching, queues and cloud infrastructure used by AI applications.
• Lead technical discussions, review code and mentor engineers while remaining actively involved in development.
• Collaborate with product, frontend and backend teams to convert business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
